I saw Big Daddy Kane a few years back at the Temple of Hip Hop Kulture album release party. Damn he massacred that stage. Some rappers make their songs for performance purposes and he's one of the masters.

Well...

Very minor review...

L Swift opened up under his new moniker of Swigga.. Picture everything you liked about L Swift, only this was the opposite..

Outerspace went on after, though I did not pay attention..

Roc Raida played some records..

Finally at like 1am, a Beatnut came on stage... Juju was a no show, so Psycho Les came on stage with like 8 people.. Les stayed behind the tables and rapped his verses from there...I was not a happy camper.. He brought Greg Nice out to do a mini set..Breathed a little life into it, but nothing to put in the hip hop archives..

Kane came out at 2 with his standard set.. Brought out some vets to say hi to the crowd (Dana Dane getting the largest applause).. Sweet T came out and spit something..

About 45 minutes into Kane's set, he brought out Foxy Brown to spit a song and then an acapella.. At 3am, Kane wrapped it all up with "Warm It Up Kane"..

I have never seen so many man furs in one building before in my life...They were everywhere.
