See, this is why I'm in business. It makes no sense that people drop that kind of money with nothing substantial to show for it. You shouldn't be paying that kind of money for a site that looks as shitty as Worldstarhiphop's.

There should be a study on this. How the internet has turned some of these hip hop media outlets into some greedy fuckers. GAM, I think you might have an angle if you look into that with your business.

For the rappers that are supported by trappers (with no real experience in the music industry), this kind of money gets shelled out consistently. That's how some artists get on your commercial radio stations and you cannot even get a returned call. Thing is, again... the money is grossly misappropriated.

At this point, it's about re-educating. A lot of people feel like there are no other options, so they do the Worldstars and pay unproven publicists to get them a bit of buzz... with NO website or marketing strategy.

Good point.

We might have to make this a thread about rates for promo period. I just found some of Audible Treats rates. Comes up to a little over $5,000 for a 3 month campaign.

Supposedly WSHH got shut down...by 50 cent? I'm sure that's just jokes.

I don't know what's going on, but I'm excited that the site is gone.
