about that... Universal is a term that applies to Apple machines, and refers to software that is designed to operate on models with either pre-Intel Apple processors and their new Apple Intel processors. sorry again cousin. |
its all good. _________________ www.myspace.com/sumadra

Some good free shit for all the people who want to go legit:
Reaper http://reaper.fm/
A really good DAW/Sequencer (like Sonar/Cubase/Logic) that is un-crippled un-expiring shareware. It is streamlined, flexible, small, quick, customizable, and constantly updated. All-around fucking great, can't recommend it enough.
Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Well known free audio editor. Good documentation is available online which is a plus.
Wavosaur http://www.wavosaur.com/
Stupid name but a great program with a nice GUI. Similar to audacity, Wavosaur is comparable to Soundforge or Cool Edit. Nice features, no installer, ASIO support, VST support. Good shit.
Wave Surgeon http://www.wavesurgeon.com/main.html
Wave surgeon is a sample slicer very similar to ReCycle. The demo version has a few features disabled and nag screens, but all the basics are there and it works well.
GVST Plugins http://www.gvst.co.uk/
High quality free vst plugins. The GMulti Compressor is great.
Kjaerhus Audio Classic http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php
Simple, nice sounding plugins that are easy to use and easy on the CPU.
Cockos http://reaper.fm/files/reaplugs.zip
Some of the bundled plugins from Reaper for use in other hosts. The GUI is basic/non-existant but they are very CPU friendly
Jeroen Breebaart http://www.jeroenbreebaart.com/audio_vst.htm
Some dude who makes free plugins. The brick wall limiter is nice
Voxengo Boogex http://www.voxengo.com/product/boogex/
The commercial plugins here are great and he also offers a couple of free ones. Boogex is a free amp simulator and it is really, really great.
E-Phonic http://www.e-phonic.com/plugins/
Retro delay is good and free
AG works http://ag-works.net/plugins.htm
The Chorus 2 sounds great but takes a while to get used to.
Terry West http://www.terrywest.110mb.com/
The free soundfont player is simple and work perfectly. MIDImix looks pretty cool also. |

Anyone got a serial for Melodyne for the Mac? I came across version 3.1. A later version is also cool. _________________

Here's a little something i found.
This virtual instrument offers the most complete sonic arsenal for Hip Hop, R n B and New Pop/Rock productions. Its made of more than 600 presets using 1,500 samples. The focus of this collection was initiated by longtime R n B programmers, to obtain a stylish virtual sample library that provides 585 Megabytes of professional-sounding samples. The sound- design team put together a great selection of loops, kits and multisampled instruments. Despite being created by hip hop and R n B artists, this library offers sounds which will be useful to composers working in many modern musical genres: it will be a great asset to music producers and post-pro houses. The first section features construction kits of the latest trends: Timba-style, Funk Mood, Talk-boxed, M&M, Pure R n B, Hip hop... The next section offers drum loops sorted by tempo, Instrument phrases combo, Single phrases mapped to the entire keyboard for easy transposition (bass, fx, guitar, hits, keys, synth), vinyl sounds, basses (phat, R n B), Keyboards, Guitars, Synths, bass/synth Splits, vinyl fx, Drum kits, and sorted Drum presets. This last section features the most powerful drum selection on the planet in the R n B flavor. A most inspired toolkit: this is the real heavy stuff!

Quick Instructions
Ok. There is only 1 folder after extraction, just drop that folder inside your VSTPlugins folder. Open the plugin in your host sequencer (Cubase, FL) and use the Keygen for authorization. Do not forget to select the correct plugin in the keygen window, which is, in this case, PS Vol. 4 Hip Hop Toolkits BEFORE you click "Generate"
That should be all. For those who experience sounds being "out-of-time" or "offbeat" when they export in FL, use the proxy dll plugin instead for a flawless export (Cubase doesn't need this, only FL). Enjoy. _________________
