This entire compilation is a Southern Classic but this song in particular is incredible and since I've never seen it posted I had to toss it up like 2 Pack.

You won't get any argument from me. And while we're on the subject I prefer the version of Tommy Wright's 'Hell On Earth' on YSP 2 over the version that appeared on 'Feel Me Before They Kill Me.'

hey catfish, i looked up Gangsta Blac's Can It Be on Amazon and they have two different albums by him listed under that title. one is from '96 on Prophet Records and the other is from '98 on Super Sigg. which one were you recommending in your list of Memphis classics? they both say Can It Be on the cover, the one from '98 also says I Am Da Gangsta. thanks.

somewhat slept on (South Memphis (SPV) but classic tape that bumps non stop on both sides.
Produced entirely by Blackout. Hsi work easily rivaled that of Paul & J, Squeeky, and Sound. South Memphis had a very distinct sound that was strongly influenced by Playa Fly & Gangsta Blac. Also sports Dungeons & Dragons cover art to boot. If you can resist this tape your obviously on some Hip Hop shit and have zero purpose in this thread.
