What do we have for today?
The White Shadow of Norway Presents "Back to the True School"
This is a vinyl-only EP release from Norway featuring Grand Agent, D-Stroy, Gr8 Scott, Celph Titled, Majik Most, Guttah Mouf, and Milwaukee's own Strange Brew... who I beleive had PF's own Agent B design their cover art.
Ripped at 160 kbps:
1.) Plans to Blow- Grand Agent
2.) Check- D Stroy and Gr8 Scott
3.) Extra Thug Sauce- Majik Most, Guttamouf, and Celph Titled
4.) Nut and Graffiti- Strange Brew
What makes this record so dope is that the producer, DJ White Shadow, adds some serious cuts to these songs. He also manages to introduce some tallented unkonws to us, like Strange Brew, who come off a bit fratboyish but fresh none the less. I think they are everything that Boston's Porn Theatre Ushers tried to be. Also introduced here are Majik Most and Guttamouf, who aren't lyricaly amazing but quite brutal and humorous in the same vein as a Snagglepuss, MOP, or dusted Tame One, minus the syllabication of course.
I was always curious to hear more from Gr8 Scott, especially after the Lunch Room Take Out battle/skit on the Arsonist's As the World Burns LP. Homeboy comes correct on here.
