In case you guys don't get the point... last night I discovered the virtues of YouTube. I smoked a ton of weed and watched classic rap videos until 2 am, which is quite late for me given that I rise from my bed before 5 every morning. This shit is the motz and every two weeks or so I'm going to do a thread like this.
I picked Wu Tang Clan videos because the oldest ones are my absolute favorites. There was nothing doper to me as a youngin' than watching a bunch of dudes rap with masks on because they had warrants. Fuck computer effects, I want heads with gats, big knives, timbs, and hoddies repping it... that's that street shit. It reminded me of the time my best friend was taken out of school in handcuffs for bringing two shottys to his 9th Grade semi-formal. The shit was all over the news and he was on TV with a black box over his face- imortalized in anonymity and a martyr for the foulness we grew up in- just like our hero,

Agreed about the early Wu videos - used to love them. There was ony one person in our crew who had satellite TV in the early 90's so he used to tape Yo! MTV Raps and Jimmy78 and the rest of us would sit around and watch them in between joints and games of Street Fighter 2. Good times.
